Method

We begin engagements with an assessment where we look for improvement opportunities in areas such as company governance, financial reporting, marketing or IT management. Out of every assessment comes a business case that shows the anticipated returns of one or more potential projects.

During alignment we work with your staff to design a solution. Solutions typically involve IT enhancements, governance changes, changes in business processes, and training for staff.

During implementation we roll-out new processes, enhance the IT environment, build or purchase IT systems, and perform related analyses. A key part of our implementations is training. Our solutions typically require new concepts for the organization to embrace that requires learning at many levels.

Because just training is often insufficient to perfect a new skill, we offer mentoring. Freshwater Partners personnel coach staff members at all levels in the new practices that are implemented. Mentoring can be a full-time or as infrequent as a conference call once a month, depending on need. Either way, our goal is to work with your team to ensure that the new practices are put into place and that you get desired results the first time you try them.

After a new capability has been put in place it is important to measure your results and optimize the elements of the new practice. We can either position you to optimize your new capability yourself, or work with you to fine-tune the new processes and systems.
